I had to get all my shopping done today because what else am I going to do on my gloomy day off?
I ran out of moisturizer so I had to get a new one. I figured since it’s summer and I just burned my face yesterday I should get one with SPF in it. Luckily my favorite brand/line has one with SPF 15. I hate changing my skin products because it can send my skin in a horrible direction.
Then I always see things on eye creams and how they’re so important to prevent pre mature aging, fine lines and wrinkles. I’m only 20 and I don’t have any wrinkles, but I figured better start now so I can hold them off even longer. Honestly, I don’t think eye creams are that important so I found the cheapest one that’s supposedly comparable to a higher end product.
I had to get a birthday gift for a friends 23rd birthday. I love LUSH so I’m making her try LUSH stuff. I got her a bath bomb, this hand lotion where all the proceeds go to a charity and the lotion bar that I’m in love with. It smells amazing so I think she’ll like it as well.
I finally got Andre’s gift. I got him none of the things I thought I would. I ended up getting him a Livestrong golf shirt. It’s actually really nice and I’ve loved the Livestrong line ever since my dad got cancer years ago. Plus hes getting a steak dinner at Hyde Park on me which is enough.
My last purchase was an impulse buy, but I had a gift card so I justified it. I went to Sephora and bought two NARS duos and I love them.
Surprisingly, I didn’t spend as much as I thought I was going to today. Yay for sticking to my budget.
Last night I had a dream that this guy down the street from me was trying to take my poor little Nitro and breed him with a stupid little ass chihuahua and I was so pissed at my parents. So I started yelling that I paid for half of him so they couldn’t have him. And that breeding my pure bred with a chihuahua would only make a mutt worth $20. Not that I think mutts are bad, my Starr was a mutt, but in my dream I was just like NO.
And so when they were trying to get Nitro to do it with the chihuahua I freaked out and stole him back and then woke up.
…No more twinkies before bed.
Once I got out of work Saturday night I spent everyday with my friends, family and Andre.
Saturday night Andre and I went shopping for a guy that we work with. His daughter is turning 1 and we were invited to her party this coming weekend. We went out to dinner and I slept over his house.
Sunday we had both slept terribly because his room was so hot. And Andre has a snoring problem that I’m trying to deal with. Anyhow that day I wanted to go on a walk because it was so nice out and I didn’t want to sit and do nothing. I thought we were going to Losson Park which is your basic flat nature trail. He said he would drive and he ended up surprising me by taking me all the way out to Chestnut Ridge. Which is a lot bigger and so much more fun. We hiked the long route to see the Eternal Flame. Which is a natural gas leak and the flame never goes out. Ironically it’s behind a little waterfall. After we finished that we had a cook out at my house and some of my family came over. Then I had a fire with some of my friends, made some smores and it was a really good time.
Today we went to the beach! The plan was to go next weekend, but the weather doesn’t look too promising so we went today. We took the scenic route there and it was beautiful. The beach was really busy because of Memorial Day, but it was still nice. I got a lot of sun-maybe too much on my face considering how red it is…oops. On our way back we got some food and called it a day.
I had so much fun this weekend and I’m happy I have tomorrow off as well. First time in about forever that I’m having a 3 day weekend.
My plan tomorrow is to go out and buy Andre’s anniversary gift. Hard to believe it’s already been a year. I can remember our first date like it was just yesterday.
So far I’ve had an amazing weekend. I wasn’t going to go to the beach until next weekend, but it’s going to cool down quite a bit. Today it should be around 90 so it’ll be perfect.

And I wanted to get him something. I had no idea what to get him. He’s the type that if he want’s something he’ll just go and get it. It’s been happening even more lately since he signed up for amazon.com -_-
Then I decided he golfs all the time so he must need golf clubs. The only situation is I have no idea what to buy or what size they come in and all that. His mom kinda knows a little bit about golf so I asked her to look at his stuff and tell me what he needs. She said he already got a bunch of new ones, but you can never have too many as a golfer right?
She’ll let me know what I need to get and hopefully he’ll like whatever I find. I knew if I asked him about it he would instantly know I’m getting him something because I have never shown and interest in his golfing. It’s something he does with just his friends.
I want him to have no idea because he basically knew about every gift I bought him in the past.

and then I used the fresh face mask Love Lettuce I couldn’t find it on their website to show everyone, but it’s amazing.
They’re both for oily skin and my t-zone can get very oily in the summer and I hate it.
Well I used them both today, one after the other and my skin wasn’t oily all day! And it was pretty hot out!
I wore nothing else on my face-not even powder and I didn’t have to blot my face once.
Proof of my love for strawberries. It’s been there since I was born basically. I’d eat them 24 hours a day if I was allowed to. They’re like my potato-no matter how they’re prepped I’ll eat them.
